Event Coordinator & Park Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Event Coordinator & Park Operations Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the park experience through dynamic event coordination, guest engagement, and ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Park Events Management: Plan, coordinate, and host family-friendly events, parties, and educational activities within the park.
  • Interactive Programs Development: Develop and implement interactive programs tailored to young children that promote play, learning, and development.
  • Dance Activities and Performances: Lead engaging dance activities and performances to entertain and connect with young visitors.
  • Audio Support: Edit audio files and assist with performance-related preparations as required.
  • Operational Support: Support daily park operations and assist the Park Manager in ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
  • Team Guidance: Train and guide team members to ensure smooth event execution and exceptional service standards.
  • Scheduling and Customer Service: Coordinate staff schedules and assist in managing customer service at the park.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure all play equipment and park facilities are in good working condition.
  • Atmosphere Creation: Create a warm, inclusive, and high-energy atmosphere for all park visitors.
  • Customer Contact: Serve as a key contact point for event bookings, visitor feedback, and on-site inquiries.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle any operational or customer-related issues with professionalism and care.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, event planning, or a related field.
  • Event Planning Experience: Demonstrated experience in planning and hosting events for children and families.
  • Dancing and Performing Skills: Comfortable with dancing, performing, and leading group activities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and handle administrative duties.
  • Physical Activity: Physically active and willing to work on-site, including weekends and public holidays.
  • AUDIO EDITING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT MANDATORY): Experience with audio editing and familiarity with mascot operations is preferred.
