Vector Control Specialist

The role involves conceptualising strategies and formulating/reviewing operational policies on vector control. You will be responsible for safeguarding the environmental and public health of Singapore by working with multiple internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing evidence-based vector management approaches.
- Engaging stakeholders through presentations and discussions.
- Reviewing work processes to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with current best practices and guidelines.
- Implementing operational programmes related to vector control in collaboration with regional offices.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports, proposals, or submissions.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in operations planning, investigation, and/or enforcement, preferably in a vector control-related field. Strong analytical reasoning skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills are essential.
A self-motivated team player with good organisational and time management skills, ability to handle pressure under tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment is required.
This position involves working independently and making sound judgments. A mature, resourceful, and outgoing individual with a positive attitude is ideal.
Occasional work outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays, may be necessary.
