Job Summary:
We are recruiting a talented Research Fellow to work on developing autonomous SLAM and perception algorithms for UAVs in complex environments. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing our knowledge in robotics vision and SLAM, and collaborate with our team to integrate these systems into UAV platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development of SLAM algorithms for UAVs in GNSS-denied environments.
- Design and implement multi-modal SLAM software using LiDAR and RGBD cameras.
- Validate perception and localization algorithms in various environments.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and deploy perception and SLAM algorithms on UAVs and ground robots.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Expertise in SLAM, VIO, multi-sensor fusion, and perception algorithms.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, and MATLAB, with experience in ROS/ROS2 and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with perception algorithms using TOF, LiDAR, RGBD cameras, and IMU sensors.
