Key Responsibilities:

You will ensure the bus engineering team are adequately trained, skilled and future-ready to operate and maintain equipment and vehicles.

  • Develop training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of staff.
  • Engage in strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to identify PT bus engineering skills frameworks, including skills and competency maps, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with WSH policy and ISO quality management systems, asset management systems, and bus continuity management systems.

Curriculum Development:

  • Maintain accreditation status for WSQ training and seek new certifications.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify key knowledge and skills associated with learning objectives.
  • Ensure effective knowledge retention and develop high-quality learning materials, including e-learning content using authoring tools.
  • Conduct review and quality assurance checks of training standards for implemented training programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of curricula, training courseware, and assessment methodologies with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and review of on-the-job training (OJT) blueprints for engineering-related training modules.
  • Support SGBA in curriculum development and skills assessment of technicians.
  • Manage change and drive e-learning course modules for initial training, refresher training, and blended training.
  • Develop curricula for new products, such as hybrid and electric buses.

Technical Training:

  • Administer and coordinate in-house and external training, including those organized by vendors.
  • Identify and implement new training interventions and methodologies.
  • Conduct stand-up training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering).
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in electrical engineering or the automotive industry (preferred).
  • Preferably with certification in ACTA/ACLP.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong training and development skills.
  • Accustomed to meeting deadlines, prioritizing, and delivering quality results in a time-sensitive environment.
