About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to solve complex business problems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, and implement end-to-end mainframe solutions based on a well-defined software development life cycle
  • Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT Projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
  • Deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet customer needs
  • Contribute to complex tasks and respond to production issues accurately

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in development, design, and integration of mainframe solutions
  • Proficient in Cobol, JCL, Db2, Changeman, Expeditor, IBM developer(IDZ), Tivoli workload scheduler (TWS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to get things done swiftly and independently
  • Experience in automated/manual testing methodologies with a focus on functional and integration testing
  • Experienced with implementing CI/CD for mainframe and GitLab facilitated software delivery
  • Understanding of webservices (SOAP/REST) and supported data structures such as XML, JSON
  • Disciplined approach to development, implementation, and production processes
  • Familiarity with agile development and tools - JIRA/Confluence

  • Good understanding of Agile-based execution processes
  • Proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements
  • Good communication skills
  • Prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable
