English Language Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English language teacher to join our team at the United Language Centre PTE. LTD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of English language pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of all levels, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse student needs.
  • Assess student progress through a range of methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide feedback to students and their families as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective English language curriculum, including lesson plans, assessments, and materials.
  • Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge of English language pedagogy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
  • Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment and promote student success.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in English language teaching, TESOL, TEFL, TESOL or CELTA required (in lieu of experience).
  • At least 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an academic setting. Confident in teaching adults primarily but must be able to teach children as well.
  • A strong understanding of English language pedagogy, including current best practices and methodologies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • We require availability for teaching from 4pm to 9pm. An openness to teaching during morning and weekends is also highly valued.
