Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEICA engineer to join our team at Talentvue Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing MEICA engineering tasks, reviewing ICA scope, BIM models, specifications, and drawings, and collaborating with the BIM model for ICA and other MEICA projects.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Task Management: Manage MEICA engineering tasks under the supervision and direction of the CRE/PM.
- ICA Scope Review: Review and interpret ICA scope, BIM models, specifications, and drawings related to all ICA work.
- Adherence to Plans: Adhere to established plans, procedures, workflows, systems, and tools for the supervision of CWRP.
- BIM Collaboration: Collaborate with the BIM model for ICA and other MEICA projects.
- Technical Updates: Provide regular technical updates to the Engineering Manager and CRE regarding any issues.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers to address technical and engineering challenges for each contract, prioritize issues, and coordinate with the discipline teams to resolve them.
- Specification Enforcement: Enforce adherence to specifications and industry codes of practice.
- Progress Monitoring: Stay informed about the progress of ICA work and upcoming activities by reviewing contractor notices, monitoring WhatsApp group updates, and communicating with Resident Engineers.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure all inspection documentation meets local authorities' requirements and project standards.
- Risk Management: Verify that safety, environmental standards, and risks are properly addressed during submittal reviews, and monitor compliance during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Contract Support: Provide technical assistance and input on contract-related matters.
- Cross-Discipline Coordination: Coordinate relevant technical issues with Resident Engineers of other disciplines.
- Quality Control: Ensure the engineering, inspection, and testing functions are adequate for all contracts.
- Compliance Maintenance: Maintain consistent quality standards and compliance with design plans and specifications across all contracts.
- Contractor Compliance: Ensure contractors' documentation meets project standards.
- Site Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date site records and ensure they are organized.
- Ongoing Tasks: Perform any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in PUB / water projects.
