Senior Application Manager Role

About the Job

The role of senior application manager involves overseeing the development and implementation of complex, custom-built solutions. As a seasoned professional in Temenos applications, you will be responsible for leading functional discussions, ensuring adherence to development standards, and analyzing impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement T24 and TAFJ R23 or higher in a multi-company, multi-application server setup.
  • Understand technical solutions for Temenos/TAP/Infinity applications to contribute to and lead functional discussions.
  • Handle end-to-end functional implementation of complex, custom-built solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals in a Safe Agile environment.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards and banking best practices for Temenos Applications.
  • Analyze impact assessments of Temenos application changes and identify downstream effects.
  • Design scalable, reliable, and resilient solutions that do not create platform debt or use obsolete technology.
  • Update documentation and sign off on JIRA, Confluence, unit test documents, source code review reports, sonar scans, vulnerability scans, operational handover documents, etc.
  • Inform the client application platform Lead about items to report to security, IT risk, architecture, and register.
  • Closely collaborate with Business Engineers, System Architects, PMs, test management teams.
  • Share the latest banking functional concepts with the team.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues (RTB) to maintain a stable production environment.
  • Participate in reviews meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  • Effectively manage development resources and deliveries from the squad.
  • Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines, and challenge the status quo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science/Related Field.
  • 10-15 years of functional and technical experience in Temenos application platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Private Banking modules and Application Services framework.
  • Implementation experience of SWIFT messaging, interfacing patterns, STP processes.
  • Able to translate functional requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Systematic, meticulous, good communication skills, work ethics, and service attitude.
  • Hands-on experience with Integration & Interaction frameworks and Streaming solutions.
  • Fair understanding of Application deployment architecture and infrastructure.
