Senior Physiotherapy LeaderWe envision a world where individuals with disabilities thrive in inclusive communities.The Adult, Family and Accessibility group offers various services to empower persons with disabilities.This role is part of the Allied Professional Hub team, responsible for developing and enhancing clinical physiotherapy services within our organisation.Key responsibilities include overseeing therapist skills development, ensuring safe and evidence-based practices, and managing complex cases requiring advanced expertise.You will work across settings like early intervention programmes, special education schools, or adult and community services.
  1. Clinical Work and Supervision:
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients with complex needs
  • Provide supervision to senior physiotherapists, ensuring adherence to professional standards
  • Ensure clinical services adhere to relevant standards and best practices
  • Manage resources to maximize service impact
  • Provide expertise, guidance, and mentorship to enhance team skills and professional development
  • Collect, analyse, and report on data to measure service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  1. Uplift Professional Practice:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and interventions
  • Develop, implement, and review clinical competency frameworks, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to organisational strategies, policies, and procedures related to clinical service delivery
  1. Service Development & Improvement:
  • Collaborate with Heads of Department and Clinical Leads to support or lead the development and implementation of the organisation's clinical strategy
  • Contribute or lead in the development and implementation of new programs and services
  • Design and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs/services and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor and analyse clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and audits
Job Requirements:
  1. Recognised Degree/Master in Physiotherapy
  2. Registered with Allied Health Professional Services
  3. Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience working as a Physiotherapist
  4. Candidates applying for Senior Therapist roles should demonstrate strong clinical expertise and mentoring ability, while those applying for Principal Therapist roles must have advanced clinical proficiency and a track record of driving service excellence, innovation, and evidence-based practices
