Railway Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Railway Development Specialist to join our team at METRO RAIL ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE. LTD.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our business in the power supply sector with a focus on railways and other electrification projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business opportunities within the power supply and railway electrification sectors.
- Identify potential clients and stakeholders in the industry, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continuous business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of contracts.
- Promote and negotiate proposals and contracts for railway & other electrification projects.
- Meet sales targets by tracking performance metrics and adapting strategies as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase market presence and visibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in business development or sales within the power supply, railway and other electrification sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of the railway electrification industry and relevant regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
