About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our team at CRADLE@NTU. The successful candidate will contribute towards our research thrust of Science of Learning by conducting independent research on topics related to cognitive neuroscience of learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting independent research on cognitive neuroscience of learning.
  • Handling grant proposal documentation and associated administrative tasks.
  • Conducting literature searches and writing reviews.
  • Supervising and leading teams of researchers.
  • Coordinating between faculty members from different disciplines.
  • Performing some centre's administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • A Doctorate (PhD) degree and a publication record in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, education, or related fields.
  • Experience in teaching or conducting research related to education settings is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated record of excellent scientific writing skills.
  • Independence in developing programmatic research is encouraged.
  • Experience with systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
  • Good statistical knowledge and skills, including familiarity with software such as R and SPSS.
  • Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies.
  • Experience with graphical-user interfaced software.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills for teams.
  • Person-oriented communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with conducting and coordinating behavioural experiments in neuropsychology or cognitive psychology.
  • Experience with neuroimaging techniques.
  • Familiarity with image data analysis tools.
