Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer, C3

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at NCS. As a key member of our C3 team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our container infrastructure within our on-premises environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Kubernetes clusters on-premises
  • Work with Docker containers and containerd for application deployments
  • Integrate Kafka for event-driven communication and data streaming within our on-premises setup
  • Leverage Guacamole for secure remote access to our systems
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises environment
  • Implement Kubernetes security measures within our on-premises setup

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes concepts within an on-premises context
  • Experience with Docker and containerd for on-premises container management
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes networking in an on-premises environment
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools for on-premises deployments
  • Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters in an on-premises setup
  • Understanding of Kubernetes security best practices within an on-premises context

  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Diploma & Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • [Optional] Relevant certifications, e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • [Optional] Experience with on-premises infrastructure and data centers
