Job Title: Erosion Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Erosion Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with expertise in implementing effective earth control measures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about protecting the environment and ensuring the well-being of employees. As an Erosion Control Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive plans to prevent soil erosion and sedimentation on construction sites.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations, as well as experience working with Qualified Erosion Control Professionals (QECPs). You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective earth control measures, including erosion control and sediment control plans;
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and government agencies;
  • Collaborate with QECPs to monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and outcomes;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the construction industry;
  • Registration with the National Environment Agency (NEA) and the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES);
  • Specialist Diploma in WSH and/or Bachelor's Degree in Workplace Safety and Health-related and certificate in ECO.
