About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as an Animal Care Officer at Mastermark Pte Ltd. As a key member of our wildlife management team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and husbandry services to our supervised animals at various animal care sites within Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute food under supervision and according to animal dietary requirements.
  • Handle, restrain, and move animals in a safe and humane manner.
  • Provide basic animal care, including showering, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
  • Conduct general housekeeping tasks, such as moving and arranging supplies.

Requirements:

  • At least an 'O' Level qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Completed handling course conducted by an accredited or approved training provider (an added advantage).
  • At least 1-year work experience or equivalent in animal husbandry/handling and care.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rabies and Tetanus vaccinations.
  • Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and Influenza vaccinations.
