Job Title: Film and Media Program Manager

The Film & Media Department is dedicated to developing and delivering industry-oriented learning programs that prepare students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving media landscape.

We are seeking a forward-thinking program manager who will drive the transformation of our film and media curriculum to meet the dynamic needs of the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Academic Excellence: Manage and chart the strategic direction for the department, developing practice-based programs that align with industry trends and technological advances while ensuring academic quality and innovation.
  2. Financial & Operational Management: Oversee the financial performance of the department through budget planning, cost management, and revenue growth initiatives to achieve profitability while ensuring smooth program delivery and quality learning experiences.
  3. Curriculum Development & Industry Partnerships: Design cutting-edge curriculum incorporating emerging technologies and industry practices, while fostering partnerships with media companies, production houses, and content creators to enhance student learning opportunities.
  4. Teaching & Program Delivery: Prepare and deliver lessons for diploma and professional development programs, monitor program alignment with objectives, and drive implementation of innovative learning methods and technology integration.
  5. Staff Management & Development: Monitor performance and development of academic staff, assist in recruitment and selection, and implement professional development programs to enhance capability across the department.
  6. Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the broader network to create synergies between education and professional practice.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the film and media industry.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related discipline.
  2. Established network within the film and media industry.
  3. Strong understanding of current film and media industry trends, technologies, and professional practices.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage industry stakeholders.
