Submarine Hull

At ST Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Hull & Fittings Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to supervise welding, fabrication, and modification of wood work and metallic work onboard vessels. The successful candidate will perform simple welding tasks in the workshop or onboard vessel, as well as carry out physical work for removal, servicing, or installation of hull components or equipment.

• Supervise and ensure quality control of welding, fabrication, and modification work
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as grinding, cutting, and welding
• Carry out physical work in hot, dusty, and greasy conditions

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering, including understanding of 2D engineering drawings. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided for those with no prior experience.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of 2D engineering drawings
• Able to work in hot, dusty, and greasy conditions

We offer a competitive salary package of SGD $50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide transport support from various locations across Singapore, including Jalan Bahar, Pioneer MRT, Boon Lay MRT, and others. Our working hours are from 7:45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
