At INSPECTORATE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of laboratory analysis and supporting the laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analysis in accordance with standard methods and procedures.
  • Ensure data generated meets all requirements of the data handling guideline procedure.
  • Review and repeat tests if suspicious or abnormal results are encountered.
  • Participate in laboratory functions, including proficiency testing, SQC checks, meetings, and discussions.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of work area, including cleaning glassware, instruments, and samples.
  • Assist chemists in new method development and standardization of reagents and equipment.
  • Represent the laboratory for witnessing at third-party laboratories.
  • Perform tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • One year of working experience in the petroleum or petrochemical laboratory industry preferred.
  • Experience in handling laboratory instruments, such as GC, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, UV spectrophotometer, or petroleum physical testing equipment.
  • Physically fit and able to work 12-hour morning and night shifts.
  • Able to work in a team and support the Team Leader/Assistant Team Leader.
