Senior Elderly Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Elderly Services Coordinator to join our team at Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Volunteer Management Team and Elderly Care Programme Team, including the Afterlife Memorial Service and Case Management.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate, enhance, and implement volunteer management policies and processes across the organization.
- Direct the Volunteer Engagement Team to create a positive, engaging, and fulfilling volunteer experience.
- Lead, promote, and influence vision for the successful development of the department.
- Create strategic plans, set goals, and measurement systems for overall growth of the department.
- Conduct and deploy volunteers for home visits for AMS members.
- Prepare monthly reports on the progress of Volunteer Engagement.
- Plan and implement initiatives or programs for elderly individuals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the elderly care program, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Recruit, train, and supervise AMS teams to ensure provision of quality care services.
- Organize and facilitate elderly befriending events to re-integrate beneficiaries back into the community.
- Explore avenues for expansion of AMS with external parties.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards of care.
- Gather and prepare supporting documents for government agency submissions.
- Work with CRM vendors to ensure accurate integration of data.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document program activities and outcomes.
- Conduct educational sessions and workshops for teams to raise awareness about elderly issues and promote best practices.
- Provide support for Charity's major events and functions (e.g. Anniversary dinner, Flag day, Befriending program) organized by the Charity.
- Support teams and Executive Director as necessary.
- Minimum Diploma in Social Work or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in program management, preferably in elderly care/social services.
- Strong knowledge of elderly care services, regulations, and practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Compassion, empathy, and genuine interest in improving lives of elderly individuals.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting.
- Able to work on some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Possess good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaker recipients.
$SGD 80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
