Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents by providing exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing with excellent clinical skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our residents, including medication management, wound care, and rehabilitation.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with our residents, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Comply with approved standards of nursing practices
  • Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
  • Work closely with resident's doctor and multidisciplinary team to provide care to the residents
  • Update on changes in resident's conditions and needs
  • Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan
  • Evaluate the resident's response to care interventions and recommend revision of care plan as necessary
  • Work with Allied Health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
  • Carry out and supervise assessments of new admissions
  • Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices
  • Responsible for safe keeping of control drugs
  • Manage any emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation and escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary
  • Work with staff to maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home
  • Participate in internal nursing documentation audits

Qualifications:
  • Locally Trained Registered Nurse with Advanced Diploma in Nursing/Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Foreign Trained Registered Nurse with Degree or Diploma in Nursing with Board Pass (Professional Regulation Council, PRC)
  • Registration with Singapore Nursing Board
