Healthcare Porter Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the position of Healthcare Porter. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by assisting with patient transportation, transfers, and other duties.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with transporting patients using wheelchairs, beds, and trollies
  • Collaborate with ward staff to receive and transfer patients from ambulances
  • Sending patients to wards and clinics for treatment or examination
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by supervisors

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in Simple English
  • Training is provided to enhance skills
  • Able to commit to fixed shifts (afternoon or permanent night shift)
  • No visible tattoos
  • Welcome to students aged 17 years old minimum, with at least 6 months commitment
  • Physically fit for lifting, walking, pushing etc
  • Capable of performing basic tasks on hand-held devices
