Seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Security expert to lead IT system migration to secure cloud environment built on VMware Cloud Foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure and maintain VCF components including vSAN, NSX, vCenter and SDDC Manager in line with infrastructure standards.
  • Set up, manage and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications and microservices.
  • Automate resource provisioning and application deployment using Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, including configuration and maintenance of web servers such as Tomcat, Apache and IIS.
  • Monitor system health, performance and resource utilization across cloud and container platforms for optimal operations.
  • Implement and maintain system security measures and support security testing processes including DAST, SAST, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and relevant authorities to provide timely updates, resolve incidents and ensure secure operations.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in cloud migration, especially with VMware technologies.
  • Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, VCP, CKA or CKAD are advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience in IT security testing, system hardening and working within secure environments.
  • Experience in managing infrastructure within classified or restricted data center environments.
  • Practical experience in deploying, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and experience supporting pipelines in production environments.
