Motor Claims Estimator Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Motor Claims Estimator Officer. This role requires the ability to manage motor claims, work with insurance companies, and ensure the proper administration of these claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with insurance companies to coordinate claims and verify liability.
  • Assist in all aspects of claims processing, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Proactively manage claims, ensuring timely processing and resolution.
  • Closely work with internal and external customers to resolve insurance claim issues and ensure they understand the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and files related to insurance claims.
  • Represent customers in preparing and submitting repair cost estimates for insurance claims.
  • Negotiate with insurers on behalf of customers to secure insurance coverage and repair costs.
  • Coordinate with customers and insurers regarding repair invoicing, paperwork, and vehicle repairs.
  • Arrange for surveyor inspections of damaged vehicles and release replacement vehicles if necessary.
  • Work closely with workshop colleagues to manage repair processes and quality control.
  • Fully finalize repair costs in collaboration with surveyors.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in claims administration or a similar administrative role in the insurance or automotive industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the insurance claim process, attention to detail, and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
