Job Description:

As a seasoned Big Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data pipelines that drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate technical concepts into actionable solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and other technologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multi-technology landscapes
  • Optimize and refine data pipelines for improved performance and efficiency
  • Drive initiatives for automation and process improvement

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Big Data Engineering within the banking domain
  • Expert knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and Iceberg
  • Strong understanding of translating business requirements to technical solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, Unix Shell scripting, and DevOps processes
  • Experience with containerization and cloud platforms (Azure, Google, AWS)
