Automotive Refinish Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Refinish Specialist to join our team as a skilled professional responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes on vehicle body panels.

  • Surface Preparation: Sand vehicle body panels using power and hand tools to achieve smooth surfaces, ensuring excellent results.
  • Body Filler Application: Perform body filler application and panel beating to repair dents and surface damages effectively.
  • Painting: Apply primer, base coat, and top coat using a spray gun, mixing and matching paint colors as required to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Mixing and Matching Paint Colors: Mix and match paint colors or use pre-mixed paint as required to ensure consistency in color and finish.
  • Touch-ups: Sand between coats and perform necessary touch-ups to guarantee a smooth, high-quality finish.
  • Polishing and Protection: Polish painted surfaces and apply rustproofing and protective sealants to extend the lifespan of vehicles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in automotive spray painting and body filler work is essential.
  • Skilled in spray gun operation, sanding, and surface preparation techniques.
