We are seeking a High-Speed Networking Engineer to join our team at REALTEK SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed networking equipment. This requires a strong understanding of Ethernet switch protocols and hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test programs for Ethernet switch hardware modules.
- Verify functionality of the modules according to specifications on FPGA and silicon platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Familiarity with Ethernet Switch layer 2 and layer 3 protocols is necessary.
- Knowledge of router or switch SOC system design is essential.
- Familiarity with SOC architecture design, hardware/software partition is crucial.
- Understanding of processor sub-systems like ARM cortex-A/M/R is necessary.
- Familiarity with memory sub-systems such as SRAM/ DRAM/ Flash is required.
- Familiarity with interface peripherals like Ethernet/ PCIe/ LIN/ CAN/ FlexRay/ SDHC/ I2S/ SPI/ I2C/ UART/ ADC is necessary.
- Familiarity with programming languages C, Python, Verilog/ VHDL, systemC, System Verilog is required.
What We Offer:
- Proficiency in hardware testing and debugging techniques using tools like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, IXIA is expected.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with SOC system design and familiarity with various programming languages.
This role involves working with a team to develop and verify high-speed networking equipment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware architectures, and software development principles. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
