Key Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Trader and Structurer.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on non-linear products in Rates, Credit, and FX, collaborating with various teams to deliver tailored client solutions and manage risk parameters through dynamic hedging.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative trade ideas and targeted solutions for clients in collaboration with Sales, Solutions, Origination, Distribution, and DCM Syndicate teams.
  • Maintain trading risk positions on the desk while adhering to internal limits and requirements.
  • Formulate trading views and ideas for revenue generation to achieve desk profitability targets.
  • Prepare and execute commercial pitches on bespoke and structured solutions.
  • Evaluate trades with thorough reviews of legal documentations and risk approvals.
  • Establish relationships with Front-Office teams and Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Tax to increase client business.
  • Contribute to IT / Front-Office system developments to enhance operational efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • Develop new products in a prioritized manner and collaborate with stakeholders in the Front-Office Quants, Developers, and Risk teams.

Essential Qualifications/Education

A strong background in Finance, Engineering, Physics, Financial Engineering, or equivalent degree is preferred.

Required Experience/Knowledge/Competencies
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar structured credit trading role.
  • Advantageous experience in SPV repackages, securitization, covered bond swaps, bespoke CDS/TRS, bespoke repo packages, leverage, callable, or optional credit payoffs.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with high levels of self-motivation and energy.
  • Able to work independently with a strive for excellence and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A sound analytical and technical approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to think creatively with an effective communication of ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships.
  • A collaborative and strong team player.
  • A good working knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, market data analysis.
