About the Role

$85,000 - $115,000 per annum (base salary) plus bonuses and benefits package available.

This exciting role will see you join our dedicated team of professionals working towards reducing our environmental footprint. As a Business Sustainability Analyst for Climate Risk, your primary focus will be on reviewing greenhouse gas emission data inputs from various teams within the organization to ensure compliance with our Group's sustainability requirements.

You will be responsible for resolving any issues that may arise during this process, promoting knowledge transfer on sustainability-related matters to the relevant teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality data.

In addition to your key responsibilities, you will also be involved in the following:

  • Assisting with the calculation of scopes 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing more efficient processes.
  • Coordinating with external auditors to resolve any queries or findings and ensuring closure of audit recommendations.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to implement system enhancements and automation solutions that streamline our reporting processes.
  • Tracking emerging climate risk disclosures in the region, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes, and advising the business accordingly.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of climate-related financial statement metrics and related disclosures in our audited financial statements.
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating open communication channels, and documenting processes and procedures effectively.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in calculating scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions following the GHG Protocol, preferably in logistics and e-commerce industries.
  • Experience with TCFD reporting is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, think creatively, and adapt to uncertainty.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
