Enterprise Data Modelling Expert

We seek a seasoned data modeller to drive enterprise-wide data governance and metadata management initiatives. In this key role, you will design and maintain comprehensive data models that align with business requirements, regulatory standards, and metadata standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise data initiatives.
  • Map business terms and definitions to technical metadata within the data modelling framework.
  • Define and enforce data modelling standards, naming conventions, and metadata lineage structures.
  • Collaborate with data governance and IT teams to implement data modelling best practices.
  • Contribute to the ingestion and enrichment of metadata in the data catalogue, including technical lineage and business context.
  • Support migration or integration of metadata from legacy or external systems into the data catalogue.
  • Validate model accuracy and alignment with business rules and downstream system requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience as a data modeller or data architect in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with data cataloguing tools, including data domains, business glossary, and lineage mapping.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance, and data cataloguing practices.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience working with relational databases and cloud data platforms is a plus.
