Job Title: Vessel Project Leader

This is a challenging role that requires exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading vessel-related engineering and outfitting projects from planning through delivery.

\

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of marine systems, including structural, piping, HVAC, electrical, and outfitting systems. They will also possess solid knowledge of CAD/CAM tools, AI-based design software, and production drawing workflows.

\

The ideal candidate will be able to review project specifications, coordinate technical clarifications with commercial and design teams, and develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP). They will ensure project milestones are achieved on time, deliverables meet client requirements, and work is delivered within budget.

\

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading internal coordination meetings and external client engagements\
  • Coordinating with engineering and design teams on technical deliverables\
  • Submitting Clarification Requests (CRs) for site-related issues\
  • Planning and overseeing manpower deployment\
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations\
  • Evaluating subcontractor and vendor progress claims\
  • Implementing tight controls on material usage and consumables\
  • Providing regular project status updates\
  • Coordinating with the QA team for inspections, reports, and compliance documentation\
  • Participating in ship inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)\
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm technical specifications and delivery timelines\
  • Attending client meetings to resolve technical and operational matters\
  • Managing project close-out activities\
  • Ensuring before-and-after documentation is systematically stored in the project folder\\/ul>\

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marine engineering, ship design, or offshore project management\

  • Skilled in project scheduling, cost control, and execution oversight\
