Role Summary:

The Events and Marketing Executive plays a key role in driving the growth of our organization by securing essential donations through fundraising events and campaigns.

This individual should be innovative and proactive in developing and executing fundraising plans, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with donors and partners to increase our annual donation income.

Responsibilities
  • Fundraising Strategies
  • Create and execute innovative fundraising strategies that meet financial targets
  • Donation Management
  • Drive steady donations through HopeBuilders – monthly recurring donors
  • Social Media Content Creation
  • Draft compelling social media content to effectively promote fundraising campaigns
  • Event Management
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of both online and in-person events and campaigns
  • Liaison Role
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and communications with various internal departments and external stakeholders, keeping to project objectives
  • Project Management
  • Efficiently manage all project aspects, including sourcing sponsors and vendors, monitoring workflows and timelines, handling event logistics, marketing efforts and preparing post event reports
  • Program Development and Support
  • Work with the team to conceptualise and set up engaging volunteer programmes and projects designed to resonate with partners and donors to foster active participation
Requirements
  • A diploma or tertiary graduate with a minimum of two consecutive years of events management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • A detailed-oriented and efficient multi-tasker who is also proactive, resourceful and tackles challenges head on
  • Adaptable team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management/ CRM software
  • Familiar and active on various social media platforms
  • Effective communication skills written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Comfortable to uphold, communicate and affirm our principles (vision and mission)
