Senior Radiography Leadership Position

As a senior radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional imaging services.

This leadership position requires strong clinical expertise and the ability to oversee and guide radiography teams effectively.

  • Perform clinical duties in general radiography and advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, or Breast Imaging
  • Administer contrast media for radiological examinations, where required
  • Ensure smooth operations within their section, proper equipment usage, and maintenance at all times
  • Implement quality assurance programs and initiate system improvements within their section
  • Adhere to safe work practices, particularly radiation safety and infection control
  • Conduct training and coaching of radiographers
  • Deliver prompt and courteous service to both internal and external customers
  • Address patient complaints and queries effectively and efficiently
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion and efficient patient turnaround time per examination
  • Motivate and counsel team members on personal and professional growth
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
  • Recognized degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
  • 5 years of specialized experience in preferred areas such as Mammography, Breast Imaging, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology
  • Demonstrate strong leadership potential
  • Cultivate compassionate patient care and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
