Deck Foreman

Ably Resources is seeking a skilled Deck Foreman to oversee deck operations on our state-of-the-art heavy lift pipelay vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate deck crew during pipelay, heavy lift, and marine operations
• Ensure safe and efficient deck activities per company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks, JSAs, and risk assessments before commencing operations
• Maintain clear communication with vessel management, clients, and third-party contractors
• Monitor and maintain deck equipment, tools, and spares
• Oversee cargo loading/offloading, pipe handling, rigging, and lifting operations
• Implement and enforce quality control measures for deck work scopes
• Train and mentor junior deck crew members

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year's experience as a Deck Foreman on offshore pipelay/construction vessels
• Thorough knowledge of pipelay, heavy lift, rigging, and marine operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with offshore safety regulations (QHSE) and quality management systems
• Valid offshore survival, firefighting, and medical certifications
