Clinical Research Coordinator Position

Overview of the Role:

The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, data management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and screen study participants based on eligibility criteria, ensuring a seamless enrollment process.
  • Communicate study objectives clearly to participants in a manner that is easily understandable, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Obtain informed consent and administer study questionnaires efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Schedule participant visits and manage follow-up activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, research staff, and internal departments to achieve study goals, promoting effective teamwork.
  • Collect and manage data from electronic health records and study databases (e.g., Redcap), utilizing technical expertise to optimize data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate and organized study documentation, including consent forms and sample records, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., HBRA), providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate IRB submissions, amendments, and annual reports, facilitating smooth operations.
  • Support clinical workflow setup across multiple departments for recruitment, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and maintain high standards of professional conduct, upholding the organization's reputation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Public Health, or Social Science, demonstrating academic excellence.
  • No experience required; training will be provided, emphasizing personal growth and development.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA) is an added advantage, showcasing adaptability and willingness to learn.
