Marine Infrastructure Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Marine Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing coastal and marine infrastructures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, retaining walls, etc.

You will work on local and overseas projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural and geotechnical design of shallow and deep foundations.

Additionally, you will assist the Project Lead/Project Manager/Design Manager in planning site investigations and interpreting results.

Other responsibilities include managing subcontracts, supervising design and/or site work, preparing technical and financial proposals, and ensuring all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards and regulations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as well as proficiency in engineering software such as SAP, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD.

Experience in contract administration is advantageous.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by BCA/IES/ACES and from a reputable university is required, while a Master's degree in Structural Engineering would be beneficial.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale marine infrastructure projects using British Standards and Euro Codes is necessary.

Basic knowledge of specialist marine studies such as berthing and mooring analysis is also required.

Experience:
