Strategic Sourcing Role Overview

Cardinal Health is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team in the APAC region. As a key member of our Global Sourcing team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Cardinal Brand products, raw materials, spend, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing projects, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance and relationships.
  • Manage the APAC supply base to deliver best-in-class product cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation for Cardinal Health branded products.
  • Co-develop and execute global sourcing strategies to achieve best-in-class value, sustainable productivity, and high levels of quality and service.
  • Ensure compliance with company business ethics and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, preferably in a multinational company or global environment.
  • Solid Strategic Sourcing capability, experienced in End-to-End Sourcing scope.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High fluency in Microsoft Office skills.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and full of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
