Devops Engineer Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a DevOps Engineer. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can drive the development and implementation of our infrastructure and applications.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with expertise in DevOps practices, including automation, configuration management, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures across big data and CI/CD environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Bash and Python to streamline system administration and deployment tasks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and development teams to optimize workflows and provide technical guidance.
  • Document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies, such as Apache Hadoop and Cloudera Data Platform (CDP).
  • Proficiency in writing Linux shell scripts and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of database administration, including MySQL and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
