About the JobThis role requires a skilled Carpenter to deliver high-quality formwork and construction services. Key responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans to ensure project specifications are met.
- Designing and constructing temporary molds for concrete pouring.
- Inspecting and replacing damaged formwork or bracing as needed.
- Building structures such as footings, columns, walls, stairs, and elevator cores using formwork materials.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden formwork.
- Dismantling formwork after use for reuse purposes.
- Repairing existing formwork to extend its lifespan and ensure safety.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
