Job Title: Fabrication Specialist
Job Summary:
Fabrication Specialist plays a vital role in the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring that all fabrication works meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MTOs for respective projects to ensure timely material procurement and installation;
- Collaborate with Project Leads and Superintendents to gain knowledge of project schedules, deadlines, and requirements;
- Expedite site fabrication and installation works with subcontractor teams to achieve targeted progress;
- Coordinate with QA/QC team to resolve issues, maintain project quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Communicate effectively with Client representatives to address concerns and resolve issues promptly;
- Perform red line markup drawings to reflect site changes and update engineering accordingly;
- Liaise with Project Leads and Superintendents to resolve drawing and site discrepancies, structural clashes, and other fabrication-related matters;
- Coordinate scaffolding erection and de-staging activities with trades;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Marine Offshore, or equivalent qualification;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marine/shipyard operations involving structure fabrication and installation;
