Job Description

The Investment Manager will be responsible for identifying and originating investment opportunities in deep tech sectors. This involves conducting market research, analyzing trends, and synthesizing information to identify potential investments.

Additionally, the Investment Manager will work closely with senior members of the investment team to conduct due diligence on potential investments, assess commercial viability, and structure investments.

They will also be responsible for portfolio management, including assessing corporate actions and strategy implementation to grow enterprise value.

Furthermore, the Investment Manager will support senior management in overall corporate strategy and processes.

Requirements
  • Science or engineering degree holders (PHD and post docs welcomed)
  • At least 4 years of relevant investment experience or 8 years of research or work experience in deep tech sectors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience presenting complex and technical initiatives to senior leaders
  • Team player with strong abilities to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills/Attributes
  • Demonstrated success in working in ambiguous, quick scaling environments
  • Knowledge and foundation about hardware and software design and development for robotics and advanced hardware components
  • Experience in developing technology from prototype to product stages
  • End-user-focused outlook
