Job Summary:
The Senior Information Security Analyst is a critical role responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor, and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. This position ensures the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citigroup Inc.'s data security policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential information security risks and recommend enhancements to mitigate them.
- Collect and analyze security risk evidence, coordinating with internal and external compliance and auditing agencies/officials.
- Communicate complex security topics and safe information security practices with all levels of the organization.
- Ensure daily utilization of controls and address non-compliance remediation.
- Provide information security consulting services, including interpreting and clarifying information security policy, procedures, standards, or concepts.
- Assist in defining and implementing information security standards to align procedures and practices with Citigroup Inc. standards.
- Educate and advise on safe information security practices and current, changing, and/or recommended information security requirements.
- Validate compliance with information security policies, practices, and procedures, and resolve various information security-related issues in coordination with the business.
- Assume an informal/formal mentorship role within teams and assist with the coaching and training of new team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
- Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup Inc., its clients, and assets.
- Drive application security assessments by analyzing the current application architecture to determine the nature of risk and requirements for onboarding to SAM monitoring tools.
- Based on the SAM assessment, advise the application team on the controls necessary to achieve SAM compliance and help build a plan for the same.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Applicable certifications (Security+, CISM, CRISC, CISSP) or willingness to earn within 12 months of joining.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
- Proven analytical skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
