Job Scope:
  • The Supply Chain Operations Manager is tasked with the overall oversight and management of the supply chain functions.
  • This role encompasses material sourcing, planning, procurement, inventory oversight, and logistics management while coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies in collaboration with executive management, defining and executing all tactical actions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sourcing and procurement of materials and goods, both domestically and internationally.
  • Plan, manage, analyze, and coordinate all activities related to the procurement of essential materials.
  • Establish, qualify, and manage supplier relationships to achieve optimal results in terms of pricing, lead times, costs, and quality.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory to meet customer demands and lead times.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability, standardization, and quality assurance (zero defects) from suppliers.
  • Coordinate and analyze various matters to ensure efficient supply chain management.
  • Maximize the utilization of resources, including IT systems and database management for tracking tools.
  • Prepare and present status and performance reports.
  • Manage and develop the department to meet organizational goals.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain (procurement/planning) within a manufacturing setting.
  • Solid experience in fabrication and equipment within a tool shop environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and data management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Results-oriented, organized, meticulous, with strong problem-solving abilities, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
