Job Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning and execution of campus redevelopments. Your primary focus will be on developing technical specifications for tender evaluation, providing recommendations based on compliance with medical equipment, furniture, and fitment standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering, preferably in electronics or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in service and maintenance of medical equipment. Strong organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. You must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and procurement of medical, non-medical equipment, and furniture
  • Plan and facilitate user workgroups to set goals, discuss performance indicators, and review progress
  • Responsible for budgetary planning and control to ensure development stays within allocated resources
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to prepare specifications for tenders
  • Provide recommendations based on technical compliance and evaluate tender submissions
  • Support tender committees in their evaluation of equipment and services for procurement
  • Stay up-to-date on healthcare planning topics and issues to lead hospital development initiatives
  • Support the rest of the campus planning team as needed
