Senior Renewable Energy Investment Specialist

Contribute to our efforts in renewable power and decarbonization solutions by sourcing and executing investment opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, including hydroelectric, wind, solar, and distributed energy solutions.
- Perform complex financial analysis and valuations, commercial, technical and impact due diligence on investment candidates.
- Presentation of investment, restructuring or divestment recommendations, and strategy papers on new sectors to support the investment decision process.
Assist in targeting and evaluating new investment opportunities in clean energy, business transformations, and low carbon solutions. Develop ideas for potential transaction and deal structures, perform industry research and evaluate new market segments and potential opportunities;
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate potential transactions and company/industry research;
- Assess potential investments through building detailed financial models to evaluate potential transactions and company/industry research;
- Work with operating teams across the organization as a key aspect of the planning and completion of due diligence;
- Project management of teams across the organization to assess green house gas reduction and development opportunities for potential investments;
- Prepare high-quality investment committee materials and other transaction documents;
- Identify and assess potential risks and devise appropriate risk mitigation strategies;
- Assist with the preparation of clear and concise presentation materials and other supporting documents;
- Build financial models that include operational, financing, tax, valuation and other relevant aspects to support financial analysis;
- Work with Brookfield's operational teams and advisors to progress due diligence and asset management-related analysis;
- Asset management of allocated portfolio companies, including monitoring performance of portfolio companies, assisting with strategic initiatives at portfolio companies; and participating in special projects as required.
Our team invests in renewable energy infrastructure, opportunities for decarbonisation of industrial processes and generation, and low carbon solution assets across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia Pacific region from Brookfield's infrastructure funds.
