Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

The role of a Cybersecurity Specialist is to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats by developing and optimizing detection mechanisms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, designing and developing on-prem and cloud defensive tools and procedures to optimize threat mitigation and improve security posture.

Candidates must have a strong background in cybersecurity with expertise in threat detection engineering, security monitoring tools and threat analysis and defence. They must also possess professional security management certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar credentials.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Threat Analyst to create actionable detection methodologies and stay current with the latest threat intelligence and security trends to ensure that our threat detection strategies and processes remain effective.

The position requires minimum 5 years of practical experience in a SOC or equivalent environment and minimum 3 year of practical experience on threat detection engineering. Essential competence in the following areas: Threat Detection Engineering, Security Monitoring Tools, Threat Analysis and Defence, Threat Detection and Response.

Required Skills:

  • Degree/Diploma or higher in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field of study.">
  • Professional security management certifications such as CISSP or similar credentials.">
