Legal Expert

As a highly skilled Legal Expert, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team's efforts to drive business growth globally. You will work closely with various stakeholders to manage commercial, intellectual property, disputes, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our intellectual property portfolio, ensuring timely registrations, renewals, and enforcement actions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on IP, commercial, regulatory, and cross-border issues relevant to our operations.
  • Review and draft various legal documents, including licensing agreements, sales and distribution agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate potential legal and compliance risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in designing and implementing internal legal processes, policies, and templates to support business growth.
  • Provide support to the Legal Counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and complex transactional matters.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, company secretarial filings, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related discipline; candidates with paralegal or legal executive certifications will also be considered.
  • Prior experience in reputable law firms or in-house legal teams (transactional, intellectual property, or dispute resolution work an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of commercial, intellectual property, and corporate law principles.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
