Electronics Specialist

As an Electronics Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex electronic systems. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain In-Flight Entertainment Systems.

About The Role

This is a challenging position that requires a high degree of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. You will work on a variety of tasks, including circuit setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Set up and test circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
  • Perform repairs and modifications of aircraft electronics equipment at board and component levels
  • Troubleshoot complex analog and digital electronics systems to the component level
Key Skills And Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Higher Nitec/Degree in Engineering/Electronics Technology/Aerospace Technology or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
  • Excellent soldering techniques and understanding of surface mount technology
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and other technical publications
  • Understanding of electronic circuit design and fault isolation
