Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing and maintaining data centre environments in highly regulated banking settings.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing Cisco ACI and EVPN environments.
  • They will also provide level 3 network support with 24x7 escalation and maintain network topology diagrams, runbooks and change records.

Collaboration with vendors for escalations and advanced troubleshooting is essential. In addition, the specialist will prepare audit reports and participate in risk assessments for network security.

Requirements include experience with Cisco and Arista products, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and MPLS, and a strong understanding of networking concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy complex network architectures.
  • Implement automation and security measures to ensure network resilience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Required Skills:

  • Cisco and Arista product expertise.
  • Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and MPLS.
  • Scripting skills, including Python and Linux shell scripting.
