Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Dezign Format PTE LTD.

The estimated salary for this role is SGD $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional in quality management to oversee all aspects of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards within our organization.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting supplier audits, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with our quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the quality assurance program and conducting regular internal and external quality control audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
  • Spearheading the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control policies, standards, and operational procedures, ensuring proper documentation of records and reports for submission to regulatory authorities
  • Developing and maintaining a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and providing comprehensive reports to senior management
  • Identifying and investigating quality control issues, recommending solutions to improve the quality of services, processes, and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance through regular audits, ensuring strict adherence to the company's quality standards
  • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure safety and sustainably discarding any that do not meet requirements
  • Mentoring and leading the QHSE team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the company
  • Serving as the company's representative in quality-related discussions with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies
  • Managing feedback, complaints, and incident or accident investigations
  • Liaising with ESG and other relevant government entities on grant support applications and claims
  • Spearheading the sustainability efforts of the company, gathering carbon emission data, and working with other departments to co-develop our sustainability report
  • Attending to any other related QHSE matters as requested by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Quality Control or a relevant discipline (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or QHSE role
  • Strong knowledge of local and international quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO management systems and relevant frameworks (i.e., ISO 45001, 14001, 20121, 9001, and bizSAFE standards)
  • Excellent written and oral communication, leadership, supervision, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to multitask effectively, work independently, and in teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and carbon emission data collection is advantageous
  • Accreditation of QHSE internal auditor certification will be advantageous
