Job Title: Wildlife Experience Manager
Overview:
Mandai Wildlife Group is a pioneering wildlife and nature destination in Singapore, showcasing world-renowned wildlife parks that connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The group is spearheading an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve.
Responsibilities:
- Design and curate wildlife experiences that integrate conservation, nature, and public education.
- Inspire and educate guests on wildlife protection through interactive programs.
- Prepare and present tours-related reports and strategy decks for stakeholders.
- Support operations teams in planning and overseeing day-to-day tours and wildlife experience programs.
- Contribute to end-to-end product development cycles and successful launch of new experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with business goals.
- Design and adapt experiences for Mandarin-speaking audiences where required.
- Oversight of tour delivery, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with operations teams to maintain communication and uphold tour standards and policies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of animal-related content to enrich visitor experiences.
- Handle guest enquiries, service recovery, and feedback professionally.
- Conduct presentations and engage with diverse audiences to deliver memorable experiences.
- Generate reports and handle financial tasks to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Support training, coaching, and development of new hires and part-time staff.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Events Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business/Events Management, Tourism, or Hospitality.
- Prior experience in managing tours, guest experiences, and full product lifecycle management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong customer service skills.
- People management experience is an advantage.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Class 2/3 driving license or Basic Theory certification for buggy driving.
- Experience in running camps/glamping experiences, teambuilding programs, or outdoor engagement activities.
- Skilled in handling service challenges effectively.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
