About the Contract Finance Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Finance Administrator to join our team at the Ministry of Law, Singapore. As a key member of our finance division, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the organization.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and tracking expenses.
  • Preparing financial reports by applying the right principles, standards and appropriate accounting treatments.
  • Administering financial operations by using relevant knowledge and applying financial accounting systems, management reporting systems, e-transaction portals and other IT systems and software.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to:

  • Work closely with other divisions on finance matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Requirements

(Financial Analysis) The ability to apply analysis tools and techniques such as data analytics on financial information to assess financial implications and financial viability.

(Financial Operations & Controls) The knowledge of and ability to apply prevailing principles, policies, laws and regulations in the execution of financial operations and management.

(Financial Reporting) The ability to prepare financial reports by applying the right principles, standards and appropriate accounting treatments.

(Systems and Data Management) The ability to administer financial operations by using relevant knowledge and applying financial accounting systems, management reporting systems, e-transaction portals and other IT systems and software.

Qualifications

We welcome applicants with no prior experience, however, prior experience and knowledge in Finance, Accounting, or related fields is advantageous.

You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. Additionally, you should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, possessing meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product. Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively is also essential.
